Chaya Fridman, Judaic Studies

BIO: Chaya Fridman was born in Israel and grew up in Moscow Russia where my family were Chabad emissaries, running a Chabad house for Russian Israelis and international visitors. She's had the privilege of meeting people from all four corners of the world and all walks of life. After graduating high school in Russia, Chaya attended Machon Shoshanat Jerusalem seminary in Israel, exploring the deeper aspects and philosophy of Judaism and Tanach and its practical application to life. Chaya then attended Beth Rivkah Schools in New York, where she completed a teacher’s training course. She also worked with a special needs child and really enjoyed it. Chaya has spent many summers running programs in various camps in Russia and was art director in a sleep away camp in Florida.

My educational philosophy is that... I believe we are here to make an impact and share whatever we have. The more knowledge one has and the more skills one acquires the more one has to share with others.
Every child has infinite potential and it is up to the teacher and educational guides to help them tap into
that potential. I am passionate about helping my students find their power so that they become shining
examples to others.  I am looking forward to a productive exciting year at Mazel Day School. I hope to inspire my students in every way possible.
